My entry for the 48 hour film project in Rotterdam. I won the awards for Best Music and Best Cinematography so that's not too bad for a first try :)
I also got nominated for Best Editing, Audience Award and Best Film

It's a contest where you and your team need to create a shot film within 48 hours given a specific genre, prop, character name and line.

I shot most of the film at night and I recorded the music at daytime while also editing and writing scripts.
All the light is done with either natural light or a simple flashlight.

I was planning on doing a voice over on the track but I did not have any time for it yet. I'll probably do it next month or something.

So I started animating again, this time I started a spagetthi western so I have some cool visuals to aid a new western track.
The thing is that like with almost all of my animations, I'll probably won't finish it. I got too many other things to do, too many songs still to record too many other projects. I'm also going to quit my full-time job as a graphic designer to attend a school for music composing.

But hey who knows, perhaps I will finish this one some day. :)

Currently I'm working on a new animation again, it's been a while since I've done that. I think it will be finished by the end of August :)

I'm starting a new challenge for myself to improve my composing skills. I will now compose and record a song everyweek within a day. It does not matter what kind of genre or what lenght it is as long as it is something new. So here is my First Weekly Composition: The Hero (Western Theme):

A Western song composed and recorded in a day. Heavily influenced by the sound of Ennio Morricone and the westerns of Sergio Leone. I had a bit of a rough time recording the trumpet because it was a bit flat so I had to adjust the tuner. 
So my apologies me for the sometimes flat trumpet :)

Also, because I recorded this in a day, I was too lazy to record real strings so I just played the string section on my Nord Stage 2.

Other News: I´ve quit my full-time animation job at a commercial agency after working there for 2 years and I´m going to a school to become a music composer.  I´ve fucking had it with those goddamn commercials.

I'm finally finished with my first Videoclip. Everything was filmed with my Canon eos500d and I edited it with Adobe Premiere.I'll also be uploading some new music to newgrounds soon :)
